Now we're cookin! The 12 point roll cage is completely installed along with a Kirkey
aluminum drag race seat, fuel cell and a window net. The cage turned out very well. The quality and fit are both excellent.
Getting in and out is another story entirely. I pulled muscles I didn't know I had. |

For those that don't know, a 12 point roll cage makes its way though the
firewall and mounts to the front frame rails. This may be a little bit of overkill, but I'd rather take care of this now
rather than later.
Yes, it is still empty in here. That will change in the coming weeks. We need an engine to move all of these
pipes around. |

Here's another shot of the interior from the hatch. Soon the interior
will be carpeted and most of the stock trim parts will be re-installed. |
 |
A nice, soft back seat used to live in here. But honestly, who ever
used it anyway?

 |
In the name of weight reduction, the big, heavy, rusty, smelly stock
steel bumper was removed. In its place will be a lightweight aluminum replacement. |
 |
The stock steering wheel in the Starion is fit for a school bus.
Trying to get out of the car with this wagon wheel in your lap was virtually impossible. (
Unless you're a horse jockey.) In its place goes a tiny Grant wheel |
