DSM Magazine Article Archive

Hey everyone,

I just spent some time revamping my 1991 Eagle Talon website. I’ve added a new story on the homepage, a long overdue modifications list, links to the YouTube videos and a collection of DSM articles pulled from some of my old car magazines. These old articles feature the Mitsubishi Eclipse, Eagle Talon and Plymouth Laser when they were busting on the scene and blowing everyone’s mind with their “go fast with class” credo.

    hey Tom!

just read thru your DYI water/alcohol article, and Id like to install one for my 04 civic to enhance fuel mileage.

The engine only makes 115 bhp, so Im thinking maybe a smaller 50 psi Shurflo pump w/the small size nozzle. Any suggestions?

    any info appreciated, thanks man.

Hi… So I just bought a 92 convertible Miata. I had been on the bus for 9 months and saved around $2200. Miatas kept finding me. Finally i fell in love with my now 92 candy apple red beauty. Only problem is, she's an original. She has 135,000 miles on her, which is fine, but she's old. Sooo… I started searching the web in and out for little things I could do to her, add to her, change, etc. I was getting no where. I mean sure, i was finding lots of parts with names i had never heard of, but I wasn't finding anything that REALLY explained how i could transform my little old lady(on the inside at least) into a beautiful swan. So my quest continued and then I found YOUR website. And fell IN LOVE with your cute little yellow beauty. My question tom is, what do I have to do first? I know that this will be a project and I am ready! What did you do? Yours is very "21 century" right down to your speedometer gauges. I WANT THAT! I want her to accelerate and stop short and be a powerful yet sturdy beast… while still keeping her amazing ride. PLEASE HELP… any little advice on how to get started would be greatly appreciated. From one Miata owner to another :) Thanks -Jessica
